Van Man Exeter will again be assisting “Operation Christmas Child” with logistic services.
We will be carrying on from last year transporting the shoeboxes from Plymouth to the charities hub in Exeter.
The idea of the operation is to encourage donations of shoeboxes filled with gifts. These shoe boxes are then delivered around the world to children who without this donation may not receive a Christmas gift.
Last year we transported approximately 1400 ft3 of boxes for the charity which then went on to join the 16,000 shoeboxes to leave the Exeter depot destined for eastern Europe.
We would really encourage donations of these boxes to the charity. You can donate your box between the 1st November and the 18th November.
