Van Man Removals and Storage is proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer and this month we are celebrating our 8th year since joining the scheme, back in March 2016!
There are only four removal companies in the country which are members of the Living Wage Foundation – and we are the only one in Devon or the south west!
This means that we commit to paying at least the real living wage to all our staff – which is £1 an hour more than the national minimum wage.
In actual fact very few of our team are earning this – most are earning more – but it means for new starters there is a good benchmark to come in on and start their removals career with us.
The real living wage is independently calculated based on rising living costs including fuel, energy, rent and food.
Almost 9000 employers throughout the country, including Van Man Removals and Storage based in Tiverton, have signed up to the policy.
Other Living Wage accredited companies include housebuilders Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes, and big names such as Everton Football Club, insurer Aviva, luxury goods brand Burberry and the Nationwide building society.
So if you want to entrust your house move, removals or storage to a trusted mover who rewards their staff fairly, then please contact Van Man Removals and Storage for a quote.

Fantastic job. Definitely worth the cash. I will recommend to friends! Friendly guys full of energy. Victor, Devon 12th November 2018
Victor
Our move went very smoothly from the initial estimate of how much it would cost and how many boxes we would need to actually moving us in to our new home. The team on the day were very helpful and efficient. We couldn't speak more highly of Mike and his team and would recommend them to anyone. March 2022

We used Mike and his team to move my sister in law from Budleigh Salterton in Devon to Orpington Kent. From start to finish the whole of Mikes team were excellent. They under-promised and definitely over-delivered. We couldn't have asked for a better service. We would most certainly recommend Mike and his team to anyone considering moving. April 2021
