A momentous week for us here at Van Man Removals. After months of preparations we had our maiden removal using our lorry!
Getting a lorry on the road is not a simple task as you need a document called an Operators Licence. To obtain this involves a lot of paperwork and implementing a lot of new systems in the business and employing a transport expert.
These systems have filtered down through virtually all aspects of the business and I am pleased to say the experience has been a great learning process and I feel we are an even more professional and safe enterprise for the experience .
The lorry was out on Friday for a local move from Willand and we have lots of bookings for it over the coming weeks both locally and further afield including Cornwall and Wales.
The removal lorry can be loaded with storage containers making moves in and out of storage even quicker using our forklift.
This truck has a volume of 2100 ft/cu which is the same as three of our loloader vans in one go!
With some new staff to welcome to the business as well and record enquiries for January, we are all geared up and excited for what 2017 holds!
