During a house visit this week a client mentioned how much paperwork there was to fill in the last time they moved, how they had to write documents out by hand and then post them, and so on.
This got me thinking about how we try and do the legwork for our customers….
Here at Van Man Removals we aim to make our customers lives as easy as possible. We believe that by pairing our personal touch with the latest technology we can achieve that.
Take our website for example. This is regularly updated and is a fully responsive design that can be quickly access on a desktop, tablet or phone.
Our online quote form is simple to use and you’ll get a quick reply with an estimate or quote.
Our new “book a visit” tab on the website lets you request a house visit and you can specify the best time of day for the visit. We can normally reply to these requests within 60 minutes!!
We carry out our house surveys on iPads meaning we can keep the inventory records secure. And using cloud-based storage we can access the details as and when needed.
All our quotes can be emailed out and we do this within 24 hours of a house visit (we can also post these out 1st class if preferred). Once you make a booking we take care of filling in all of the paperwork for you, saving you time.
We then use an industry-leading e-signature system where you can review your contract online and sign it using any device – even using your finger as a pen if you sign with a smartphone or tablet!
And our investment in technology doesn’t stop at the booking process. Our vans are all within 3 years old and are GPS tracked meaning we can let you know where your team and goods are at any point.
Once the job’s done you can review our services using multiple online review sites and don’t forget we make a £5 donation to the Devon neonatal charity Snug for each review
And finally we can accept payments by cash, cheque, BACS and now over the phone with any debit or credit card.
We like to feel we have gone to every length to make the quoting and booking systems here as straightforward as possible and unlike many other companies this means we do the hard work for you!
