As another week draws to an end at Van Man Removals we continue our weekly blog…
We had an interesting assignment this week for one of our guys transporting a very valuable, antique Grandfather clock from Cornwall to Cheshire. We have the knowledge to dismantle these items and we packed up the clock for safe transport.
We’ve also undertaken lots of local removals in and around Mid-Devon this week with the majority of removals starting or ending in Cullompton or Tiverton.
A quieter day this week gave the team a chance for a full wash and valet of all the vans. We like to keep our fleet of vehicles spick and span inside and out as you can see in the photo which was taken the following day.
We took a last minute booking on Wednesday evening for a client who was planning a self move on Friday. Having seen the unfavourable weather for that day they decided to use our services instead and we are pleased to say we carried out a successful move and kept all their goods dry! Our vans all come with sofa covers, TV cover and mattress bags which are free of charge for our customers use.
It was also a busy week on the admin side which a record number of house surveys and a kick start on a very exciting expansion plan for the business…. More on this when plans are finalised!
